Project goal and definition:
The project mission is to provide student with supplemented skills in networking, entrepreneurship and international cooperation. The school with the help of EU found (Leonardo Di Vinci) money can now offer qualitative experience needed to raise student knowledge skills and experience to new demands as our new global society has brought with it. Students do not just get a thorough education in art, but also directions for future work, which can be a source of income too.
In this project, we have chosen students who are making similar training but they are in 3 schools from 3 different countries. The goal is to achieve the following key milestones:
1. To develop students' skills to work across national borders and gain a deeper understanding of the conditions of artists in different countries.
2. Develop students' skills in entrepreneurship and international networking. The goal is to advertise their products / services cost-effectively on the other market.
3. Entrepreneurship and training in business should be part of the artistic training.
4. Developing a modern educational content that includes practical training in business. Start international projects with goals of joint product / service.
5. To train students to repackage their skills to reach new markets and audiences.
Many of these cultural workers would be excellent as teachers in arts subjects, however they lack pedagogical training. With an education focused on teaching methodology, they can get opportunity to supplement their artistry with teaching and the school gets access to high artistic skills. To inform students about other areas where their skills are regarded as assets and which may become an alternative route through continuing education: animation, design, theatre, media, illustration, etc.
6. To train students to engage in dialogue with local artists, critics, leaders of institutions that present art (galleries, etc.) to gain insight into the artists’ reality after the end of the school and obtain answers to questions about future existential possibilities, demand, expectations, local and international viewer's interest areas, and get information from the requesting institutions about their actual situation, approaches, dilemmas and strategy for survival.
7. Finally the students get opportunities to share artistic experiences (technical and theoretical); get insight into other countries' artistic training, approach to the artistry of other cultures and see other people's way of success and failure in this area.
